Don’t Tell Daisy is a four-piece band consisting of two sisters and two mates from the Wheatbelt towns of Popanyinning and Narrogin, WA. After playing as a cover band for a few years, Don’t Tell Daisy was launched in late 2023 and hit the ground running. Don’t Tell Daisy has performed regularly throughout Perth and in rural WA, from small personal gigs to larger festival events. Don’t Tell Daisy has played with the Perth Symphony Orchestra at the Narrogin Hay Bales Concert, and have also joined acts such as Alison Parade, Humble Armada and San Cisco at the 2024 CubyGroove Fest. More recently, Don’t Tell Daisy played at the 2025 Nannup Music Festival and were successful in winning the Emerging Artist Industry Recognition Award. The band has a unique sound, characterised by the sisters’ harmonies, tight rhythm sections, and extraordinary drumming. Don’t Tell Daisy leans into indie-folk sounds and uses raw lyrics to tell stories, exploring themes of hope, isolation, connection and love. Don’t Tell Daisy has two singles out to date, with “Subway” being nominated #7 in WA’s Fiery 50 back in January. They have recently been back in the studio and are looking forward to releasing a heap of fresh music in 2025.
