Donny F Goodman is a songwriter from Wyalkatchem. Growing up in the wheatbelt meant he was always around country music. Finding a passion for the guitar at age 12, he was soon driving around the state playing at BNS Balls and Rodeos. His combination of new and old country can be heard in his latest releases, found wherever you can get music.
2025 has seen him release his debut EP ‘Home Job.’ This includes 4 original songs recorded at home. This release sits comfortably in the bluegrass genre, featuring Goodman on vocals, guitar, dobro and mandolin. Adam Springhetti played Banjo and Double Bass on the EP.
Fringefeed gave his show ‘A Brief History of Country Music’ 4.5 stars.
Collaboration is a large part of Country music. Recently Goodman has been working with Helen Townsend as one of her ‘Wayward Hearts’ and with Daisy Cotton on a regular basis.
