Nelson Mondlane
A dynamic live performer, Nelson Mondlane (POW! Negro) is best known as the MC of SUPEREGO, Myriad Sun and People Taking Pictures.
He has toured Australia extensively, playing at WOM Adelaide, Strawberry Fields, and Woodford Folk Festival, and sharing the stage with artists including Genesis Owusu, The Pharcyde, POND, and Midnight Oil.
In 2023, his band SUPEREGO won ‘Best Album’ at the WAM Awards for their debut Who Are You Hiding From. Beyond music, Nelson has been an active member of Perth’s arts scene, organizing workshops, exhibitions, and curating the ‘Upcoming Artists’ stage at Groovin The Moo.
