About

Fremantle’s Hidden Treasures music series treats WA music fans to an earful of Freo balladeers, freshly-minted local bands and some favourite heroes of the Port City stage.

Presented by the City of Fremantle, Hidden Treasures offers a rare peak into some of the West End’s most evocative and tucked-away workers’ clubs and small venues, such as the Buffalo and Navy Clubs, which are steeped in the tall stories and big sounds of Fremantle’s musical folklore.

Now a staple of the local music calendar, Hidden Treasures has developed a reputation as a taste-making showcase of WA’s hottest acts, as well bands you need to see, while also celebrating specially-reformed cult bands from the state’s rich musical past. It’s the unusual audience this creates – rock dogs rubbing shoulders with groovers and hipsters – that makes Hidden Treasures such an unpredictable delight.

Step out of the cold and into an eccentric old clubhouse to warm your ears with this musical treasure trove.
